It was great to start the day in Bangkok with NCAPEC! We had a dynamic conversation about the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework and the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to increasing bilateral and regional trade and investment.

NCAPEC and members of the U.S. APEC Business Coalition met with Matt Murray after the Second Senior Officials' Meeting in Bangkok. They discussed the role of the U.S. in regional economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and potential U.S. priorities as APEC chair in 2023.

NCAPEC & members of the U.S. APEC Business Coalition met with Ambassador Katherine Tai ahead of the MRT Meeting in Bangkok. The robust discussion focused on broadening stakeholder engagement in APEC Secretariat and ways the U.S. can leverage APEC and the IPEF to bolster inclusive & sustainable trade.
