📍#Sweida Malnutrition is a severe risk for children and women in crisis areas. The Syrian Red Crescent clinic in Al-Koum, supported by the Røde Kors, provided 1,020 services from Jan-Mar 2025, including assessments and essential nutrition.

📍#RuralDamascus 2-year-old Qais is recovering from his second bout of malnutrition by Syrian Red Crescent medical team in Al-Tall. After a month of therapeutic treatment his health has improved. Qais is 1 of 17K malnutrition cases treated successfully, supported by Norges Røde Kors.

📍#Damascus In response to urgent health needs, the Syrian Red Crescent's mobile clinic is serving 2 new areas in Al-Massara and Ash Al-Warwar. This initiative aims to provide families with essential medical care and medication, with the support of IFRC.

To offer healthcare services to families, especially women and children, in Mork and its vicinity in northern #Hama, the Syrian Red Crescent has inaugurated a clinic with the support of the UNFPA.

📍#Damascus Syrian Red Crescent distributed 215 food kits to returning families, including cancer patients & disabled individuals. This effort by Turkish businessmen via Türk Kızılay was observed by SARC President Dr. Bakleh & Turkish Ambassador Koroglu. Expanding to help 300 families!

To mitigate war's effects, IHL sets rules like caring for the wounded and protecting civilians. A two-day training in #Aleppo for 32 volunteers, supported by ICRC, covered IHL's history, principles, and enforcement.

📍#Hama Over 150 students in Salamiyah are receiving educational support to help them continue their studies and lighten their families' financial load. This initiative is a collaborative effort with Friends of Salamiyah Association & Sayyar Youth Team supported by Svenska Röda Korset.

Three-year-old Othman is recovering well from severe burns thanks to the Syrian Red Crescent's first aid team in #Daraa. His parents' care and the team's dedication are making a difference. Since 2025, they've helped over 2,621 patients with support from the Røde Kors.
