What a great find: - Newman, R.P. & Newman, D.R. (1969) “Evidence”. Absolutely loving the 14 principles for consumers of everyday evidence devised by the authors. It also feels surprisingly modern for something written over 50 years ago with considerable discussion about bias.

Qualities such as honesty, integrity, a sense of fair play, and an aversion to cheating (etc) should be standard for those in positions of power and responsibility in society - this includes higher education. theguardian.com/education/2025…
