Last week Year One celebrated Chinese New Year. We listened to the story of the Great Race, decorated Chinese lanterns, and were visited by Jack's mum who explained the significance of the red pockets. She also very kindly gifted us our very own!

Year six carried out a hot-seating activity, taking on the role of Stanley from our class novel 'Holes'.

Today the children were inspired to let their light shine. They were asked the question 'How can we make our world a better place?' We want to action as many of the children's responses as part of our mission this year as Pilgrims of Hope. #stannesrcre

In EYFS the children have been learning all about what happens during a wedding in their RE lessons. #stannesrcre
