I joined the Handwritten Letter and sent invitations by post to a party. Today’s post was full of handwritten replies. It was sheer joy! Never underestimate the wonderful excitement of receiving a handwritten letter!

There’s no doubt the circus act should win BGT for sheer danger and skill. Or Musa because he is amazing. But their extraordinary talents will be trumped by Viggo because he was insanely funny (his head popping out of that balloon!)

I’m sure the Handwritten Letter know about this wonderful exhibit at IWM Duxford Duxford but just in case…this airman wrote every day from 1942-1945 to his future wife.

A lovely graduation for Youngest from University of Exeter today where a very proud mum held back tears as her Covid and WW2 bomb affected YoH visibly grew in confidence and poise on the stage. And a special mention to the best speaker, Lily, of the Student Guild. #inspirational

It’s been 7 months and 3 smart meters (one broken original & two replacements) and still Octopus Energy and their incompetent meter fitters AES have failed to get them working. I’ve gone to the Ombudsman in despair but have others had similar problems? Which?

I’ve just watched all of Power of Parker on the BBC. Excellent cast and hopeful of a good story. But no. Felt like two good episodes worth of storylines dragged out to make a 6 ep series. What a disappointment.

Excellent evening of laugh-until-you-cry comedy seeing Bridget Christie and others at Stratford East. Minor issue in the ladies loos when I tried to dry my hands in the bin…but it was an easy mistake to make.

I am on what appears to be a very complicated SWR Help train to Dorset. There are multiple options for which carriages call where. As far as I can tell I have to be in the front five coaches, stand on one leg from Bournemouth and sing loudly to the driver for two stops. Huge fun

Fabulous afternoon seeing Hadestown in London - a musical about which I knew nothing but thoroughly enjoyed. Hermes, Hades. Eurydice and the trombonist were outstanding. Less enthusiastic about the view from the seat which was unfortunate!

I still enjoy and learn form #ClarksonsFarm3 but having see. @jeremyclarkson mowin down dandelions I wonder if I should send my dandelion honey recipe to the farm shop!
