Year 5 Take One Picture - Shaw Class (have a lovely Summer)

Wow! What an incredible day in London. We managed to find last year’s inspiration for Take One Picture by Pieter de Hooch, this year’s picture by Canaletto “Regatta on the Grand Canal” and our entry that is currently being exhibited until the end of summer. Impact Education MAT

We met an artist currently working on a site specific project on Millennium Bridge - he was in awe of our children and couldn’t believe how enthusiastic they were! Impact Education MAT

We also visited Tate Modern to see the Turbine Hall. The children were in awe of the scale of the building and the work of Louise Bourgeois Impact Education MAT

We were blown away by the children’s knowledge of various artists they had studied and the style they had become famous for. Impact Education MAT
