Tony Cole From Leeman Rd. to Dover, Ceylon, India, Burma, Siam, Singapore and the Dutch East Indies. Proud to have been in the “forgotten army”, happy that he didn’t have to invade Japan. RIP Dad #VJDay

By car, train or plane today’s trip to Truro proves City fans will go the distance to support our team. To make this easier on members wallets The Trust have been holding discussions with LNER about travel discounts. ycst.org.uk/lnertravelupda… #YCFC ❤️💙 #StrongerTogether

Fantastic 3 points ground out of a miserable game overall. That felt like continuity from last season. Using our advantages in terms of subs, fitness and experience to eventually overcome a determined opponent in crappy conditions. Big relief. #ycfc

Browsing National Library of Scotland maps, saw this... Asylum Lane would've been a far better name for #ycfc's home ground than Bootham Crescent. Will the LNER Community Stadium always be called that? It's on Kathryn Avenue. Maybe one day we'll play at Kathryn Avenue?

Thought #ycfc looked decent tonight. Played some lovely stuff at times but just lacked a final ball of sufficient quality to open up Southend's determined defence. Banks' professionalism (aka shithousery) is just what we lacked last season. Similarly Kitching, a great defender.

Picked up during the demolition of Bootham Crescent amid the rubble of the Longhurst turnstiles. New book details coming soon. Thinking about including a memento of BC with the first pre-orders. Good idea? #ycfc #football #photography

Poor from #ycfc. Frustrating start to the season with this run of awayers but very soft and slow in midfield. With Batty out of favour and Felix now seemingly fixed at right back where's the energy going to come from?

Saturday's kids. Been very interesting preparing photos for the new book. Browsing photos of Bootham Crescent on matchdays, then stripped of the crowd, then stripped of its character, and eventually reduced to rubble at its death. There was life there once. #ycfc #photography

Well, we had one normal season. Let's see what brand of #ycfc chaos the next few months (or years, probably) brings. Thanks Adam Hinshelwood, an honest bloke who turned disaster into survival and survival into hope. You gave us some great games, tons of goals and a bit of pride.
