Who are you going to dress up as? Boo at the Zoo is right around the corner on October 25-26! Candy stations, costume contests for all ages, vendors, the chance to see the zoo animals enjoying Halloween treats, and be one of the first to visit the NEW Small Animal Kingdom.

📣 Opening October 23 – NEW Small Animal Kingdom The reimagined area will feature new homes for the sand cats, meerkats, Aldabra tortoise, and cotton-top tamarin. Also, enjoy up-close views of the spider monkeys, reptiles, and meet several new species arriving this fall.

Get to know Nile crocodile Pandora and one of her common behaviors: She enjoys 'soaking up rays' by basking in the sun to regulate body temp. Crocodiles don't have sweat glands, so you may see Pandora with her mouth open. This gaping helps crocs release heat. 📷: Keeper Murphy
