As the future of universal infant free school meal comes under the spotlight again, I'm reminded of the arguments put forward by supporters last time the policy came under threat👇🏻 Of course it's just wishful thinking Just look at the recent Teacher Tapp report


2017 BBC Newsnight with Laura McInerney highlighting the lack of evidence that Universal FSM is cost effective & boosts attainment Since then only one study looked at attainment & UFSM & they found no statistically significant improvement (though some pupils got worse at maths)
