UPDATE: In April, 3 PARA 🟩 Deployed forward to Sudan to help evacuees as RAF C130 Hercules and A400MS flew entitled persons out of Sudan. The Paras planned options that included a Bn Parachute drop to secure an airfield in the event of the situation deteriorating. 💪🇬🇧🆎🟩

Mark William Wright GC Cpl Wright was killed in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, on the 6th Sept 2006, after entering a minefield in an attempt to save the lives of other injured soldiers. His actions were posthumously recognised with the award of the George Cross on 14th December
