Wai municipal Council and CWAS conducted an interactive session on menstrual hygiene management today. Simple lifestyle improvements with easily available resources were suggested for adolescent girls. Teachers also participated to provide MHM support and guidance to the students.

A training workshop engaging sanitation champions was conducted by Wai municipal Council and CWAS. Ms. Smita from Kam Foundation spoke about safe work practices and a local group of street play artists showcased the importance of the use of PPE. WMC distributed PPEs to all participants

Day 1 of the Wai Swachhta Mahotsav was attended by more than 140 participants which included women SHGs, school teachers, and students from vocational training institutes. The Citywide Inclusive Sanitation (CWIS) experience of Wai was shared with these participants.

Day 2 of the Wai Swachhta Mahotsav was attended by more than 100 participants which included school children and their teachers. Students had a fun time learning about sanitation in Wai.

Day 3 of the Wai Swachhata Mahotsav was attended by officials from WMC and Rotary Club Members of Wai. More than 50 participants were part of the Mahotsav today, a day full of interesting discussions around inclusive sanitation and technical aspects of FSSM.

Dinesh Mehta on a panel discussion for "Enhancing private sector engagement in Urban Water and Wastewater Management" organized by Ministry of Jal Shakti, GOI, and FICCI at the 7th India Industry Water Conclave. He shared experiences from work in Maharashtra on this topic.
