An update to Hatchet: Kagami. Due to its unpopularity, I will be burning the number of iterations down to the nearest power of two on the 17th July 2022 @ 01:00pm. I’ve also decided this will be the last piece in the Hatchet series, the horse is dead. Thanks to all participants!

Yuzen Log #1: I am starting a new project after finishing up Hatchet. The goal is to be able to generate intricate yuzen paper patterns which are typically composed of multiple simple patterns blended together. I've started with some simple scale-like patterns. #genartclub

Yuzen Log #2: I feel I captured the aesthetic in my first round of scale patterns, but realized that there was room to 'jazz' them up a bit before moving onto other patterns. It seems to me that only 'radial' patterns work with the scales. #genartclub #creativecoding
