After a worrying week of being informed that Contact Scotland BSL BSL would come to an end in March we are delighted that the First Minister agreed during First Ministers questions that the service will be re tendered with no breaking service for BSL users that rely on it.

As we close out 2024, we’re glad to see the significant progress in having Deafblindness recognised as a distinct disability. But we know the fight isn’t over. Our goal is clear: we want 2025 to be about equality. Together, let’s make 2025 a year of real change.
