History has shown us over and over again that price setting/price caps do not work. It will come at the cost of innovation. #ALEC24 #SOTU

Here is what I’ve heard so far at #SOTU. Spend a lot of money to add a bunch of new programs. Not sure this is going to solve the economic problems in our country. Isn’t it time to cut wasteful spending, end duplicative government programs, and save taxpayers some money?

Brendan Carr says he’s worried about licensed spectrum allocations in the mid-band, and the NSS doesn’t actually commit to freeing up spectrum and instead do future studies. Touts the Senate Commerce Republicans Republican bill as a potential path forward. #FSFConf16

Andrew Ferguson delivered powerful straightforward statement about the President's removal power, now discussing competition law and consumer welfare. Rejects idea consumer welfare standard is reduced to just price and output restrictions. #fsfconf17 m.youtube.com/live/G33c8UlQj…

Senator Ted Cruz He explains the main focus of the Committee right now is spectrum. Auctions generate revenue but the real value is the private sector investment that comes with auctions. 🫡 #FSFConf17

USF changes are in the air Brendan Carr says USF contributions at 30% are untenable. Its time to step back, ask some fundamental questions. There are dozens of programs spread across agencies. There should be a first principles discussion about how we go forward. #FSFConf17
