Windrush Community Day Project 🤝 We've hosted a school-wide and community-focused event to celebrate National Windrush Day 2025. Aiming to raise awareness, promote inclusion, and honour the cultural, economic, and historical contributions of the Windrush Generation to Wales.

After taking part in the STEM Technicians programme, our students were awarded a trip to the London Science Museum! Everyone had a lot of fun, even with the long day of travel 😄

Ebbw Fawr hosts inaugural STEM competition day! We invited schools from Blaenau Gwent & Caerphilly to take part in a series of STEM challenges. Really close competition with only 3 points between first and fourth! Congratulations to Islwyn High School for winning - by 1 point!

Pupils in KS3 got to experience Science Made Simple's X-Factor Show! We had lots of amazing volunteers to carry out some fantastic demonstrations. Well done to all the pupils (and staff) who took part. Thank you to Becky from Science Made Simple for such a great show!

Utilising our school garden to enhance the curriculum, our student gardeners just received their first award! from the Royal Horticultural Society is the first of many. The school would also be grateful to receive any gardening related donations (tools, plants, materials etc)🌱
