I am looking forward to meeting with colleagues from the state’s regental institutions at the South Dakota Board of Regents Retreat in the Black Hills this week. While we appreciate the beautiful setting of Custer State Park we will be discussing several topics that will impact Dakota State University.

I look forward to seeing many of our DSU-The Beacom College of Computer&Cyber Sciences alumni in Las Vegas this week at the Dakota State Alumni 4th Annual Trojan Royale. The stories, connections, and laughter that fill this event always makes it a night to remember.


Last night, alumni from DSU-The Beacom College of Computer&Cyber Sciences gathered for our 4th Annual Trojan Royale, organized by the Dakota State Alumni. It was an enjoyable evening to reconnect with friends and faculty, and witness first-hand the impact of our graduates in their work to drive their industries forward.





I enjoyed the conversation and connections at this week's Inside Washington with Leader John Thune, hosted by Sioux Falls Chamber, in Sioux Falls on Tuesday. We heard about the complexity of process in Congress, along with successes and frustrations.
