Some of this week's Facebook Marketplace finds. All sellers are contacted and we try to retrieve the kegs! Each year the brewing industry loses millions of pounds through the theft and misappropriation of kegs & casks. Please send them back to the breweries 🙏

Last week 19 listings for kegs were found on Facebook Marketplace. We messaged all sellers and all but 3 removed their posts. We are working every day to get these listings removed and retrieve the containers to return them to the owning breweries.

Last year we came across 812 listings on Facebook Marketplace advertising kegs for sale. All Sellers were contacted, warned, asked to remove the listing & return the kegs. Of these 812, x140 had to be handed over to the investigation team as sellers did not respond or remove.

📢Police intervention recently required with an eBay vendor who was being uncooperative with one of our investigations. Resulted in two kegs being retrieved which will be repatriated to the owning brewers. Vendor was cautioned by the police.
