My entire 2nd crew was in the building today. 🙌 We were cruising till I changed my mask so they could see my mouth as I introduced a new sound. Then they started laughing which made me laugh. Then I fogged up the mask and we laughed more. It felt good to laugh.

I held it together pretty well the last two days. Then the tears started flowing at the very end. Change is hard, but also good. Sussex-I ❤️ you! Excited for a new opportunity at Orems.

My Kinders had so much fun teaching our stuffed animals how to read during small group. I loved hearing them use instructional language from their Open Court lessons. “Which card?” “Sound?” “Blend!” ❤️ Orems Elementary Joseph Donnelly

Kinder-“Your room number is 106.” Me-“Correct!” Kinder-“Is that how old you are?” During my next small group, a different Kinder asks me, “Why do you move your neck like a grandma?” 👵🏻 I think I need a new skin care routine.

I’m so lucky to share a classroom with this amazing teacher. Ms. Tucker is vital part of our school community!
