Our ACES after-school tutoring program has served 60,000 students since opening in 2013. Supported by FOPBSS and principal Remillard, ACES relies on a collaboration between MBHS teachers, UCSD EdCorps volunteers, peer tutors, and a parent volunteer. Open M-TH 2:15-4:30 ♥️♣️♦️♠️

November is College Apps month at ACES! Every Tuesday and Thursday in November, our team from the UCSD EducationCorps along with our ACES staff will be offering support including writing and proofreading Personal Statements and Application Essays, preparing for the SAT, and more!

Our lead counselor Ms. Caroline will be kicking off our College Apps month in November at ACES with a College Applications overview and workshop on Tuesday, Nov 5th in the library at 2:30. Please encourage seniors to take advantage of this opportunity! ♥️♣️♦️♠️ 👨‍🎓

1/18 Service Day at the Bay: In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's legacy, you are invited to participate in a Day of Service at Mission Bay High School on Saturday, January 18th 2020.

Through a partnership with ACES and the UCSD EducationCorps, 150 volunteers from UCSD are coming to our campus to work on various projects such as art murals and campus and classroom beautification.

Please come out to MBHS on Sat Jan 18 from 9-12 for our MLK Service Day at the Bay! It is an opportunity to work side by side with UCSD volunteers on various campus beautification projects in the library, auditorium, cafeteria, teachers lounge, teacher workroom, and classrooms.

This is our 2nd MLK Service Day at the Bay through a partnership between the ACES after school tutoring program and the UCSD EducationCorps and we hope you can join us.

We are expecting 250+ volunteers to participate in various campus beautification projects including a mural of Dolores Huerta alongside MLK, murals in our marine science lab and the counseling office, a revamping of our teacher lounge, the development of a library college corner.

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s legacy, this Saturday, January 18th from 8:45 – 12:45 at Mission Bay High School, volunteers from the University of California San Diego along with students and staff from MBHS will be participating in our MLK Service Day at the Bay.

The Class of 2022 would really appreciate your support of our DineOut night at Chipotle at 1504 Garnet Avenue tomorrow night Tue 2/11, anytime between 4-8 pm. You just need to tell them that you are there for the fundraiser when you are at the cashier, before they ring you up💪👩‍🎓
