Congrats to Ian Nepomniachtchi on winning the Karpov Cup (a strong rapid event in Moscow). Lots of up-and-down games - it was fun to watch. That's an important skill for any top player - being able to draw losing positions (like the game with Dubov) or even win them (the one with Hans).

I find Kramnik's latest address to David Navara quite outrageous. No, more than that. Inhuman. You might be in your right legally, or maybe you are not. But one has to go over the edge to attack like that a person who clearly exposed his major mental struggles. I really think

Happy birthday to Gukesh D! Wishing the champ to surprise us with more impressive achievements. Something tells me that he is still far from his peak, and that we'll be extremely impressed many times by his play over the upcoming years.
