Never had as many delays as in the last month on Chiltern Railways. Even aiming to get to work an hour early is not enough today

KCL has a new max £10 for lunch policy: currently in Amsterdam airport having an apple and a coffee for lunch because none of the sandwhiches or salads are cheap enough (obviously I’ll just use my own money to buy a salad but feel sorry for our PhD students and low paid staff).

Managed to do a beach day with two very different children by finding out that artists were at Oxwich bay helping children do sand sculptures. After some rock pooling (spot the crab!), Josh made two lovely creatures and Grace has been paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming

My last day today as deputy head KCL Engineering (still working here another month). My highlights: recruiting incredible staff. 4 relaunched and reimagined programmes. Average +20 pp across all NSS themes since 2020, all programmes accredited for 5 years, the quad! What a ride!
