The Roseville Area Schools school board approved a new policy prohibiting clothing with American Indian team names, and logos/mascots that depict caricatures or stereotypes of a specific gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation or disability. bit.ly/3gf8I9e
Native people are not mascots. Thank you to Roseville Area Schools for providing an example of how schools and parents can partner to create better learning environments. This is excellent progress!
