Our clinic is seeing lots of symptomatic kids with negative rapid antigen #covid tests—that are then positive on a PCR test. Presumably #Omicron. Consider tracking down a PCR test if you have symptoms and are worried.

As we move towards boosters for kids, worth knowing what data show in #Omicron era: 2 doses of vax prevent against severe illness & hospitalization. Boosters provide protection against getting #Covid to begin with. As a pediatrician & dad, cannot recommend more strongly. ❤️

As a firefighter, I wear PPE when I’m in hazardous environments, not because I’m‘scared’, but because I know the risks involved. Come Monday, I’ll be wearing my mask in public settings for the same reason.
