New York's Xi'an Famous Foods has been selling its hand-pulled noodles and dumplings out of a ghost kitchen in Alexandria... and a brick-and-mortar location is in the works. washingtonian.com/2025/06/20/new…

Kind of interesting how small the Asian American pop share in DC is—less than 5%, lower than the national avg of 7%—especially compared to neighboring Fairfax County (~20%)

Wow, this is elegant. If time has three dimensions then three generations of particles with specific mass ratios fall out. Solves charge parity violations and quantum gravity. Makes a lot of predictions that are testable within the next 5 years. worldscientific.com/doi/10.1142/S2…

If you oppose the government selling federally owned land, do you instead think it should be aggressively buying more? or do you think the government currently owns the optimal amount and location of land?

'Stupider' is less formal than 'more stupid' and is used more in speech. Thus, stupider is becoming increasingly popular in print.

It's interesting that American socialists are anti excellence overall, whereas in Communist Romania educational excellence was aggressively promoted to the point of overdoing it. Everything was hyper-tiered: from school to tiers of olympiad: local, county-level, national.
